Phillip Hunt is a lifetime resident of Prestonsburg, KY. After attending Prestonsburg Community College, he began his insurance career in 1985 with the Darby and Allen Insurance Agency where he worked primarily with transportation accounts and religious institutions. He joined Hall & Clark in 1996, leading the agency’s re-focused strategy of growing its commercial lines clientele. Phillip obtained the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor in 1998.

He is supportive and active in several industry groups and associations. He is a past president of the Kentucky Association of Professional Insurance Agents and the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (Big “I”).

Phillip enjoys playing keyboard in his country music band, doing photography, and flying drones. He is also a chocoholic connoisseur.
